1 Killed In Hit-and-Run at McKee Road and 33rd Street in San Jose

On July 17 at approximately 2:30 am, an unidentified person died in a hit-and-run collision in San Jose. The accident occurred at the intersection of McKee Road and 33rd Street. Police stated that a black 2015 Infinity sedan was seen speeding on 33rd Street when it ran a red light at McKee Road and crashed into a black 2007 Honda sedan.


The driver of the Honda was ejected from the vehicle and passed away at the scene. The Infinity driver fled on foot and has not been captured. Police have still not released the name of the victim, pending notification of family.


The San Jose Police Department has asked the public if they have any additional information regarding this case to call Detective O’Brien #3527 of the San José Police Department’s Traffic Investigations Unit at 408-277-4654.


Our hearts go out to the family of the victim and we hope the perpetrator is soon found so they can accept responsibility for this tragic car crash.
