At approximately 7:00 p.m. on October 6, 2022, three vehicles were involved in a major crash on northbound US-101. The collision occurred just south of the San Antonio Road exit in Palo Alto, California.
The accident blocked four of five lanes and left at least one person injured. CHP and Firefighters responded to the scene. However, the cause of the collision remains under investigation.
The CHP Golden Gate Division and CHP Northern Division have started enhanced enforcement along the US-101 corridor in efforts to combat speeding, distracted driving, drunk driving, road rage, and all other unsafe behavior.
No further details are known about the incident at this time.
